The NRM Windows installations comes with the conference-software Skype for Business. For that reason, employees at NRM might get invitations to participate in conference calls made with this application in mind. For example, a user might be send a link: https://meet.nrm.se/some.name/K8KHLM7Y, where the invited person is assumed to click to start the application.
Unfortunately, there is no version of Skype for Business for Linux (see e.g., discussion on this link).
There are, however, some suggestions on how Linux users can participate in conference calls made by Skype for Business.

You can run Skype for business in every linux distro where Chrome or Firefox browser has been installed. Just install an "Android apk" extension to your browser which enables you to run arbitrary Android's app in your browser.
For Chrome:
- go to the extensions, find and install ARC Welder (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/arc-welder/emfinbmielocnlhgmfkkmkngdoccbadn)
- go to the extensions, find and install APK downloader (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/apk-downloader/fgljidimohbcmjdabiecfeikkmpbjegm?hl=en)
- open APK downloader in your browser, then find and download "skype for business" to your computer
- in your ARC Welder extension open apk file you've just downloaded (skype for business)
- now you can run it from ARC welder

The idea was to open an RDP-connection using the SSL-VPN portal, and then use the Skype for Business application. There seems, however, to be obstacles for allowin video- and audio recording to be transferred from the server to the client side. This can possibly(?) be configured by NRM IT?
Description on a working solution is most welcome.
