The one thing you'll notice is that English is so utterly inconsistent, that an effort to create unambiguous consistency, such as this, evidently leads to something that is significantly more than a minor tweak to the language.
I would like to have seen a much smaller deviation from English 1.0, but it became quickly apparent that such a goal was not possible while still trying to achieve the desired outcome of an unambiguous written English.

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
Ð kwik bräun foks jamps ōvr ð lāzē dog.

Peter Piper picked a pack of pickled peppers.
Pētr Pīpr pikd a päk ov pikld pepprz.
