Getting Started
Unlike other practice plugin, Eden is a fully open source project which allows server owners to download our plugin for free. If you are interested to use Eden, head over to releases to download our latest version of plugin. Please note that if the version tag contains 'BETA', it means that the plugin is currently in a testing parse and requires more testing. So it might contain game breaking bugs.
We strongly recommend to backup everything before updating the plugin, and use our latest version if possible. Use a version which doesn't have a 'BETA' version tag if you want your server to become more stable. It is not required! 😄
** Right now, since the plugin is just released. Every version will become "1.0-BETA" until the official stable version releases. Please use the latest version in the releases tab. Versions which are outdated are not going to receive any support and will have their tickets/issues closed without any reason.
Eden requires extra plugins in order to work correctly. Please install the following plugins before continue:
Although Eden supports normal Spigot, it is strongly recommend to use other supported Spigot forks. Spigot forks usually allows you to gain performance boost and allow developers to have more API usage. The list of supported Spigot forks are:
- PaperMC
- ImanitySpigot - Strongly Recommend!
- CarbonSpigot - Strongly Recommend!
- FoxSpigot
- WindSpigot
We will start supporting more and more Spigot forks in the coming days.
Note that spigot forks marked as 'Strongly Recommend!' means I have more control into this spigot because of I own those spigot forks. Other spigot forks are not officially supported.
