This script was copied from TanStack Query, and has a bug introduced in: TanStack/query#6247

const tagParam = branchConfig.previousVersion ? `` : `--tag ${npmTag}`

When no tag is set, the default is latest, hence the v4 branch published as latest. This change would make it publish instead as v4.
