Terms in need of official definitions
Many terms used in the SDGs seem like they (should) reference one or more official definitions. This is a page to link to those.
Note that the "Target(s)" field is a place to note where a certain term was found. If you find another target using the term and the semantics are the same, simply add it to the corresponding cell. If the term's semantics are different from an existing instance, create a new row and note the target in question.

Term | Target(s) | Notes | Potential definition sources ---|---|---|---|--- overcapacity | 14.6 | relies on a definition for capacity | appropriate and effective | 14.6 | This suggests that auditing processes and results should be represented in SDGIO | management | 12.2 | in most cases refers to the process, act of managing | framework | 12.4 | probably directive information, a plan with specifications | capacity | | most likely a realizable, if not same as 'disposition', difficult topic, cf. 'ability' | production | | consumption | | monitor (ing) | | an act, synonymous with 'observation'? | develop (ed) (ing) | | need to investigate minimum requirements for a developed country | implement | | "healthy and productive" oceans | 14 | | mortality | 3.1 | in this case, a "ratio", maternal deaths, but in another sense it could refer to the realizable || disease | 3.3 | some specialization may be needed, e.g. 'tropical disease' | import from OGMS |
