Calendar Folders

Calendar folders can be used to plan in advance which media files are required on each day of a meeting or event.

In normal operation, OnlyM selects media files from the Media folder (as specified in the Settings page). However, by convention, the application also selects files that it finds in a sub-folder named after the current date (if it exists). Suppose for example that the media folder is as follows:

c:\Documents\OnlyM\Media

You can plan to include a list of media next Sunday (suppose that is 10 June 2018) by adding a sub-folder as follows:

c:\Documents\OnlyM\Media\2018-06-10

This is called the Calendar Folder for that date. The folder naming convention is strict; it must consist of the year (4 digits), month (digits) and day of the month separated by hyphens. OnlyM will always include the media files located in the specified media folder and those it finds in any calendar folder.

If you use this feature it's a good idea to purge the sub-folders from time to time to avoid using excessive disk space and to help OnlyM performance. Additionally, please use the Current date option in the Settings page to check that a folder is working correctly.
