This is the repository of the Xels Desktop Wallet, a full node Hybrid PoW-PoS based wallet using Electron and Angular at the front-end and .NET Core with C# in the back-end. It is developed on the Stratis platform. Stratis itself is a PoS based system. It also provides a PoW based implementation for Bitcoin Network. We implemented a mix of PoW and PoS based system to garantee protect the network from 51% attack. For detail please check our website.
The Xels fullnode daemon is the backend REST service, hosting a Xels node upon which Xels desktop wallet depends.
The Xels fullnode application is hosted in another repository. All information on building and running the daemon can be found here.
Download and install the latest Long Term Support (LTS) version of NodeJS at: https://nodejs.org/.
Clone this repository locally:
git clone https://github.com/xels-io/XelsDesktopWallet.gitFrom within the directory run:
npm installUse npm run mainnet to start the UI in mainnet mode or npm run testnet to start the UI in testnet mode.
This will compile the Angular code and spawn the Electron process.

The application is optimised. Only the files of /dist folder are included in the executable. Distributable packages can be found in the XelsCore.UI/app-builds/ folder
