Two ideas for informal usability testing

1. Say: "I'm going to show you a web page. I'd like you to 'think out loud' — that is, just tell me everything that you see on the page."

• Open https://w3c.github.io/wai-translation-playground/people-use-web/
• Note when they notice "Select Language" and what they say about it.
• Ask them to get to a French version of the page.
• Ask them what they think of finding the translation.

(with a different person)

2. Say: "Please 'think out loud' — that is, talk the whole time so I know what you're thinking. Please find a French version of this page."

• Open https://w3c.github.io/wai-translation-playground/people-use-web/
• Note when the notice "Select Language", how they interact with it, and what they say about it.
• Ask them what they think of finding the translation.
