👋 Hi, I am Showkot Hossain, a Security and Decentralized Systems researcher from Bangladesh.

I am currently pursuing my PhD in Computer Engineering at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, USA. I work as a Graduate Research Assistant under Prof. Taeho Jung, Associate Professor at the University of Notre Dame, specializing in Security and Decentralized Systems.

About Me

  • Research Areas: My research interests lie in Security, Decentralized Systems, and Cryptography.
  • Education: I received my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Dhaka in January 2020.
  • Professional Experience: After graduation, I worked as a Software Engineer for about 3.5 years at leading multi-national software companies in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
  • Undergraduate Research: My undergrad thesis topic was security and blockchain, supervised by Dr. Mosarrat Jahan and Dr. Upama Kabir.
