GlobeWander is a comprehensive travel partner finder application developed using Kotlin and Android Studio. It offers a unique blend of features designed to enhance the travel experience by connecting travelers, simplifying the travel planning process, and providing authentic travel experiences. Targeting a wide range of users, including solo travelers, travel enthusiasts, digital nomads, and business professionals, GlobeWander integrates functionalities like user registration, advanced search, destination information, privacy, and security measures.
Before you begin, ensure you have the following installed on your machine:
- Android Studio: Download Android Studio
- Kotlin: Integrated with Android Studio
- Git (for version control): Download Git

Clone the Repository:
git clone https://git.cs.dal.ca/ushah/csci-5709-grp-15

Open the Project:
- Open Android Studio.
- Choose 'Open an existing Android Studio project'.
- Navigate to the cloned directory and open it.

Build the Project:
- Android Studio should automatically handle the Gradle build.
- If required, sync the project with Gradle files.

- Use an Android emulator or connect an Android device to run the project.
- Travel Partner Search: Find companions based on interests and travel plans.
- Destination Information: Access detailed information about various destinations.
