Roadmap
READ THIS FIRST: This article is very outdated. For a list of things we are probably going to implement over time see this document.
ShellCore Command Remastered will (probably) have three phases of development- A Prototype phase where large features are added and greatly refined from very rough beginnings, an Alpha phase where these features are implemented to create actual gameplay, and a Beta phase to iron things out and add polish.
The release numbering system consists of three digits (in an X.X.X format) alongside a suffix (-proto, -alpha, -beta etc.) that create the full version name. The most significant digit is used to signify a large change (compared to other changes on that stage of development). The next most significant digit is used to signify a major refinement to already-existing features that greatly improve their usability. Finally, the last digit is used to signify meta-changes and bug-fixing revisions.
ShellCore Command Remastered is currently in the Prototype phase. The last published release was 1.1.0-proto. The next release will be labelled 2.0.0-proto.

TEMPORARY:
- Switched the shell of new shellcores to the third tier to facilitate the Drone Workshop competition.
- Added a JSON importer to ship builder to facilitate the Drone Workshop competition. Just give it ship JSON (you can get ship JSON from the associated button in the ship builder) and it will construct the ship for you. Bug reports for this feature are not necessary since it is temporary.
NOTICE: Saves from version 2.0.0 may not work correctly, reports are not necessary since this is to be expected of prototype versions. Create new saves every time you play a new prototype version. The save screen displays which version every save was made in.
