Download Karto SDK from http://www.kartorobotics.com/ (commercial trial) and unpack the KartoSDK-2.1.?.????-Linux-64.tar.gz file in slam_karto/karto, then create a symlink to KartoSDK so that slam_karto/karto/KartoSDK exists. Note: karto_scan_matcher does not build at the moment, only karto.
