Deployment instructions
We are using Heroku for the production server. This only supports the Postgres database, so ensure that the following line is in the Gemfile:
gem 'pg'
The sqlite3 gem should not be committed to the Gemfile in the repository as Heroku does not support it. You can add it locally, for testing just don’t commit it. To push the master branch to heroku use: heroku push master
This requires the heroku toolbelt is installed and a remote for heroku is set up locally for this repository.
Production website: tableforeight.herokuapp.com Heroku repository URL: [email protected]:tableforeight.git
Please feel free to use a different markup language if you do not plan to run rake doc:app
.
