Feeds from the API include talks 'in preparation' but the 'published' / 'in preparation' field isn't included in the feed so it isn't possible to distinguish between the two in the API. Could this be included please.

The idea of 'in preparation' was simply to indicate that the information isn't finalized - not that the talk is private, so I think it is fine to include these in the API feed. I will file a more general ticket to make sure that this is properly documented.
