When can I expect my changes to be merged?

Our goal is to get community contributions seen and reviewed as efficiently as possible.

However, the amount of time that it takes to review and merge a PR can vary significantly based on factors such as:

• The size and impact of the changes that it introduces
• The need for product review
• Maintenance status of the parent repository

💡 As a result it may take up to several weeks or months to complete a review and merge your PR.

@jswope00 I'm curious if you were testing this on Redwood (last release) or Sumac (current release)? If Redwood, I would recommend future testing occur on Sumac.

@sarina What's sandbox.openedx.org? I was testing it there.

I think it's still on Redwood, but it should be updated to Sumac soon (@trabby - any update on when?)

It might be worth holding off on further testing if the sandbox will be updated soon.

@jswope00 and @sarina We deployed the public sandbox with the latest release of SUMAC yesterday afternoon and it is ready to be tested, if you need any specific settings, just let us know. There are a few minor issues and we are debugging them one by one...

@trabby do you know if the new Forums service was deployed, and the forums backend migrated from Mongodb to MySQL? (see the release notes )

@jswope00 my colleagues confirmed: Forum is migrated to MySQL. We verified it by creating a forum thread and comment and checking the MySQL database for the data.
