This is my project for solving Allen-Cahn equation. This is a one dimensional nonlinear PDE, I use Crank Nicolson method.

  • The 3rd link to Crank-Nicolson is wrong. It sends you to Stokes flow.
  • Overall, I think your discussion is poor. Your work followed some things of your reference number 2, leaving your contribution to just the code and the discretization of the BC's. However, the code is Cranck Nicolson with a small modification and the discretization is almost the same than we did in the lesson for the course. The 2D problem would be interesting, specially because you introduce the topic with a video showing the 2D phenomenon.
