A plugin which allows local Joomla 3 and 4 sites to be served over the web using Expose by BeyondCode.

Quick instructions

  • Download and install this plugin in Joomla 3 or 4, just like any other extension.
  • Go to Extensions, Manage, Plugins.
  • Filter by plugins in the system folder.
  • Move the “System – Expose” plugin all the way to the top. Then, enable it.

You can now share your local site with Expose e.g. expose share http://localhost/mysite

Requirements

Tested with Joomla 3.9 on PHP 7.4. I believe it should work in the following environment:

  • Joomla 3.9 or later, Joomla 4.0 or later
  • PHP 7.0 or later

WARNING

You must ONLY install this plugin on a site hosted on a local server such as MAMP, XAMPP or WAMP and only if you want to use Expose by BeyondCode. DO NOT install on a live site. DO NOT install if you are not sure if you really need this plugin.
