Nutshell Game flow: Main Menu > Intro Dialogue Scene > Tutorial/First Level > Dialogue Scene (leads to branching paths: Level A, Level B) > Level A OR Level B > Dialogue Scene > Final Level > Ending

Narrative: The protagonist is participating in the Moustache Gala. To win it, they must collect potions scattered throughout the level. On their quest they will meet with interesting characters that will guide them towards the castle (where the gala is held).

Ending: It is determined by the amount of potions the character has gathered until the end of the final level.

Branching paths: Between the tutorial and final level, the player will be able to choose which path to take. The player will then play the level on that path. This means that for that playthrough, they will not be able to play the other level. To sum it up: There are 4 levels in the game, only 3 can be played per playthrough.

Dialogue system: In between each level there will be "cutscenes" to give variety and narrative context to the game. The dialogue could look like the one in Undertale (for example). The player will be able to choose what the protagonist says. The branching paths mechanic is tied to this dialogue system.
