  • What is beosmapper? beosmapper is an extension tool for Blindsquare to mark building entrances and pedestrian crosses with lights on OSM

  • What problem does it solve? It allows the Blindsquare users (Blind people) to find out about whereabouts of building entrances and pedestrian crosses.

  • Our approach? To create a webpage with API calls to OSM

  • Proposed tools:

JS Framework: AngularJS (Fronted framework and functionality) OpenLayers (Mapping functionality) Python Framework: Django (OSM calls and other functionalities)
