KENTO's Portfolio website

This is my portfolio website, a simple but user-friendly and great UI design created with React.js and styled-components.

Everyone can check all of my projects created with various programming languages and tools on the portfolio website. And the order of projects is based on how featured the project is. Since my specialties of tech skills are Javascript, React.js, and Redux, I showcase my projects utilizing them a lot to highlight my skills.

About The App

Portfolio website is my portfolio website showcasing my personal projects that I've created as well as group projects in my school.

Here is the summary of featured projects on my portfolio website. Please take a look and if you get more interest in my projects, you can check the GitHub link for each project on my portfolio website and see how I've done in developing them.

ShoppingList Mern App

• MERN-stack application memorizing shopping items with MongoDB, Express, React, and NodeJS.

• Showcasing my skills such as developing a full-stack application with a good understanding of bcrypt and JWT, connecting MongoDB to React App, and styling with Chakra UI.

StudyLog

• Helpful web application that analyzes and visualizes users’ daily study records.

• Utilized Ant Design Chart to visualize data with line charts and manipulated users’ data with firebase.

CountryBeen

• Useful web application for remembering countries where users have been before.

• Applied Redux toolkit for state management with Typescript, and a React library (react-simple-map).

FreshMarche

• E-commerce-like application specializing in fruits and vegetables created with ReactJS and MaterialUI.

• Implemented CRUD operations with React-Router, applied Stripe API for the checkout section.

Doctor Appointment

• Group project in school - Practical application for booking doctor appointments.

• Completed connecting React App to MongoDB, as well as utilizing firebase for user authentication.

Setup

• Download or clone the repository
• Run npm install
• Run npm start to start running the app

Approach

• Optimize React components as much as possible to minimize workloads
• Styled by styled-components, showcasing my CSS skills and not relying on CSS framework in terms of the design.

Status

Portfolio website is still in progress adding new projects, so I always keep my portfolio website up-to-date to showcase my progress in web development and memorize how far I could grow as a web developer.
