Model Unlocker GUI

This tool is used to unlocking GTA5 Yft, Ydr and ydd models, the unlocked models can be imported into ZModeler3 for editing.

This is a GUI version of ModelUnlocker, which is more easy to use.

If your computer has not installed .Net Core 3.1, please install it before running this software.

Usage

Download the latest release from Releases Page.

1. Run this software, click the Add Files button, and select the Yft/Ydr/Ydd file that needs to be unlocked.
2. Set the output folder. If not set, the default output is the directory where the original file is located.
3. Click the Unlock button and wait for the unlock to complete.

FAQ

Can I unlock cloth mesh (.yld file)?

Currently, unlocking models with cloth mesh (Yld) is not supported.

Some models cannot be imported into ZModeler3 after unlocking

Please try to export them to OpenFormat using OpenIV, and then import them back to the model file.

My antivirus says it was a virus

This program was written in a Chinese programming language called 易语言, your antivirus software may report it as a virus. It 100% just a wrong report and you can ignore it. You can also build it from source code if you don't trust it.

I can't build it / I can't understand Chinese

Please consider using the ModelUnlocker command-line version.
