This is v1.2 of the KH Playlist app! This app provides an easy way to have a playlist of scriptures, publications, and external media during meetings at the Kingdom Hall. It uses existing media downloaded by JW app or you can download media from jw.org into your video/movies directory. The primary features on this release are support for rewind/fast-forward buttons to seek through the current video, better support for playing multiple images in a playlist row, and importing external media into saved playlist files.

Full list expounding on the significant improvements in this version:

  • Rewind/fast-forward buttons will seek 5 seconds back and 15 seconds forward in the currently-playing video.
  • Better support for playing images. You can now have multiple images in a single playlist row and it will cleanly play one after another at 6-second segments.
  • "Import external media…" option will import the media directly into the playlist. When you export or import a playlist, the zip file will contain the media. This is one way you can export and import media with a playlist file.
  • Improved scripture recognition to know the exact verses contained in each chapter. Invalid scriptures using verses that don't exist will be rejected.
  • Many other bug fixes and optimizations.
