+In March 2024, I wrote an article about using [lima-vm](https://github.com/lima-vm) instead of [Docker Desktop](https://www.docker.com/products/docker-desktop/). Today, I find another Docker Desktop alternative [OrbStack](https://orbstack.dev/).

+It provides seamless way for users to switch from Docker Desktop and easy migration of data. It is free for personal and non-commercial use. You will need to pay $8 per user per month for business & commercial use. Docker Desktop charges companies $9 per user per month for Team plan or $24 per user per month for Business plan.

+Personally I will still use [lima-vm](https://github.com/lima-vm) but companies may choose [OrbStack](https://orbstack.dev/) as it is more affordable than Docker Desktop and provides better UI and more functionalities than [lima-vm](https://github.com/lima-vm).
