Quran-For-My-Android

Assalamu 'Alaikum.

"Quran For My Android" is a simple app that displays verses of Quran and word by word translation.

The purpose of this app is to enable quick access to the verses of Quran with different translations and also to help learning the translations of 'Quranic words' with word by word translation.

This app doesn't ensure exact rendering of Arabic Text of the Quran, so this app is NOT GOOD for READING Arabic Text of Quran. I personally recommend this excellent app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.quran.labs.androidquran) for the Reading purpose.

Text Sources

All word by word transliteration, meanings were collected from "http://corpus.quran.com/wordbyword.jsp" which is "an annotated linguistic resource which shows the Arabic grammar, syntax and morphology for each word in the Holy Quran."

English translation follows Yusuf Ali's translation of Quran.(collected from http://zekr.org)

Arabic quran text is from http://tanzil.net and distributed under the terms of a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License.

  • Permission is granted to copy and distribute verbatim copies of this text, but CHANGING IT IS NOT ALLOWED.

Disclaimer

The sources (websites) of the text files ( such as Quran text, Translation text and Word Information text) should be clearly indicated if those files are used in any website or application.
