This repository contains all the information required for you to get started with your add-ons journey 🥳

Roadmap ⤵️

1. Ideation 💡

• If you have an idea, then it is absolutey cakewalk to start building the addon required if you follow the steps
• In this phase, you need to team up with fellow ambassadors or your friends to kickstart your development phase
• Fill this form once you are ready with a team so that we could help you in guiding and connecting with the mentor

2. Coding 👨‍💻

• After you are done with ideation, you could get access to a edge addon planner wherein you could track your progress and see what are the next steps to be taken
• You can use any preferred tech stack and set of chromium api's which fit in accordingly with your idea, learn more about what api's are supported by microsoft edge here
• Add your addon source code on our github repo

3. Porting addon to Microsoft Edge 🤩

• You will port your API's to CWS.
• Learn more about CWS here

4. Submission ✍️

• Once the porting is done, its time for now to submit your addon
• Fix the bugs which would probably appear during build time

5. Review 📝

• By now your addon is ready to get it reviewed by the Edge Team
• They will let you know the changes and then you can fix them and repeat the step 4 onwards again

6. Get your Addon Live 🥳

• Your Addon would be live working on Microsoft Edge
• Flex it by sharing on LinkedIn & yes, dont forget to get us tagged there by using #EdgeAddons
