The insane load times are marginally less of a problem now.

Draft because:

Special name easter eggs (e.g. SWELLOW, PAUL, and ASRIEL) don't do the special thing
Splash text is way offset and implemented in a stupid way
Unsure about the BG choice
Maybe better to wait for Easier modland menus KristalTeam/Kristal#289 and use the AFM version for that. Can't truly move on from DPL until you can croak on the file selection screen, after all.
