This seems to fix the errors in handling jpegs that main had. At first, a current version of npm with "npm audit fix" was tried, but the resultant packages.json/packages-lock.json was not compatible with the npm on the web build host. This was done with the npm version on the web build host, 6.14.4, and made a smaller set of changes than the current version of npm does.
This is only a stopgap to get the site back online. Someone who knows nodejs and javascript needs to help out with a real refresh.
