We noticed over recent times and past times that other users have been in need of an update for this helpful captcha solution. It seems that v1 of the google recaptcha api is no longer available and thus this extension has been broken publicly for some time. This has left other developers to seek out other quick solutions and even reimplementing another similar captcha solution.
These changes provide for the latest v2 api support which many users need now more than ever.
Please accept our apologies for bothering you with our need to try to contribute to your repository's extension providing a working solution out of the box even after all these years of faithful service to the community :)
