Precisely what the title says. As it stands, if the user does not explicitly close a
Tape
(and thusMessageFeed
) stream, it will continue buffering writes (or messages). Coupled with the fact that stream buffers grow unbounded by default, you can quickly wind up with a script that slowly but surely eats up your system memory.This patch ensures that these streams are closed by the garbage collector too.
