DrawRead - MachineLearning-Powered Assistive Screen Reader

DrawRead is an accessibility tool that can read out any text you can see on screen. If you have text on screen, but can't work out what it says? Click READ, draw a box around it, have it read

  • Read anything on screen, not just supported applications or browsers
  • No copy and pasting
  • Streamlined workflow

Caveats

Machine Learning is an imprecise art, text recognition is not always perfect. DrawRead has been tested on simple PC fonts - very curly fonts or handwriting will be more difficult for it to read.

This is an early version of DrawRead, please open a GitHub issue for any problems you have while using it to help refine the text recognition model.
