What is the "right" way to implement measurements across sessions?

Idea: element names, reference, and subjectID uniquely identify an ndi.element.

Idea: a new session type, "study", allows one to consider a set of sessions (or sets of sets of sessions) all at once

Idea: For analyses that must cross sessions, such as spike sorting units recorded across many sessions (if the experimenter organizes it that way), then "study" should be able to load probes (conglomerates of probes from their studies), and elements can be served out to individual sessions with a common element id number (and they will have common name, reference, and subjectID of course)
