I do not find any docs regarding the removal of virtualenv binary. Maybe its a bug in RHEL, I do not have the same behaviour in my rocky 8.10. i'll ask if I can raise a ticket to red hat in any case the pr fix the issue while being transparent for all users |

In my most recent RHEL 8.10 install,
virtualenvbinary was not found and instead onlyvirtualenv-3.6was found. This probably reflects a new behaviour of thepython3-virtualenvpackage.The PR enables a way to override virtualenv binary to use but keep the default value of virtualenv.
