SmartEVSE-2 firmware 2.20

This software version has a lot of additions, cleanups and rewrites.

  • The modbus communication between SmartEVSE controllers had been rewritten. Now the master will poll each node for state changes, and act accordingly.
  • The modules internal temperature is now visible in the setup menu.
  • The setup menu now shows a navigation indicator, which shows how many menu options are available, and the current position in the menu.
  • The broadcast address 0x00 has been moved to 0x09, as this was incompatible with some modbus kWh meters.
  • The number of SmartEVSE's that can be configured in a load balancing setup, has been increased from 4 to 8.
  • To use the LCD more efficiently, the text is now displayed condensed, where the i takes up less space then a w.
  • Added the option to connect a one-wire RFID reader, and lock/unlock the SmartEVSE with up to 20 RFID cards.
  • Added the option to use a modbus kWh meter, and show the charged energy (kWh) and power (W) on the display.
