list of items in "my contributed items" - removing the related items

"I find it a bit confusing that items which I “related to” in my workflow appear in my account in the list of “Contributed Items”. I can imagine why this is happening from a technical perspective - but would find it more intuitive if this list only shows items for which I made content-based changes (e.g. changed the description). I don’t consider myself a ‘Contributor’ to an item that I linked to."

iirc the frontend just displays whatever we get from the backend via /api/contributed-items
