Getting Started

Prerequisites

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/RoelVillaluz/Foodhub.git
cd Foodhub
  1. Create a virtual environment and activate it:
python -m venv env
source env/Scripts/activate  # On Mac use `source env\bin\activate`
  1. Install the required packages:
pip install -r requirements.txt
  1. Set up your database (e.g., SqLite, PostgreSQL) and update the settings.py with your database configuration.

  2. Run the migrations:

python manage.py runserver
  1. Create a superuser to access the admin panel (Optional)
python manage.py createsuperuser
  1. Start the development server:
python manage.py runserver
