e.g. for practicals

Things to mention:

  • Virtual Machines
  • Remote Desktop
  • WSL (windows subsystem on linux aka ubuntu on windows)

Harder options:

  • Dual booting
  • Straight up installing Linux over everything

And then what all of those things mean

there was one of the labs where you had to explicitly compile to .exe files to run them in a windows terminal (haskell? scala?) but I can't remember which :/
