While I agree with the changes content-wise, it must be done differently.
To change the menu, you need to adapt site/_data/menu.yml. From this YAML file, we generate the menu in the template for all the pages.
Also make sure you only edit files in site, because the docs folder will be generated from it when doing make build-site.
This probably needs to be better documented, sry about that 😬
