Previously, a specific intake-esm version was desired, but likely it's not needed any longer, may be causing other problems, and is generally not a good idea all thing being equal.

I think this could be the cause of the intermittent seg faults, but I'm not completely sure. I hand-created an environment with these changes and it worked, while the installed CatalogBuilder environment fails. We should probably unpin the intake-version anyway so we get bug fixes, and I think it may be making the conda solver result in a lower python version than it would otherwise (3.9). |
