  • 👋 Hi, I’m Daniel Mompel Riera.
  • 👨‍🎓 My background is in Veterinary Medicine and more specifically in Aquaculture.
  • 👨‍🔬 At present, I’m finishing my PhD in Microbiology at the University of Portsmouth, U.K.
  • 👀 I’m interested in the Microbial Ecology of the Marine Environment, the integration of MetaOmic tools for its study and the subsequent Bioinformatic Analysis.
  • 🌱 I’m currently learning Python while playing around with Artificial Intelligence algorithms.
  • 💞️ I’m looking to collaborate on projects that aim to explore the undiscovered bacterial and archeal diversity of the marine environment.
