Pre-publication checklist:

General code cleanup:

• Run code coverage tests, min 80% code being hit by tests (requires modifying testing infrastructure?)

• Remove bare except https://stackoverflow.com/questions/14797375/should-i-always-specify-an-exception-type-in-except-statements

• Split filter class in separate .py submodule

• merge dev, dev_MK, master

Feature additions:

• Output OpenTree compliant Nexson

Results:

• min 2 empirically interesting examples.
