Creating mappings

To start off mapping, you could either match mappings from a certain version or map everything manually. Then, you will need to get the mapping tool called Enigma.

You can get Enigma from one of the following links:

• MCPHackers' MCPEnigma

MCPEnigma supports reading SRGs and MCP 43 format CSVs.

• FabricMC's Enigma (Prebuilt)

FabricMC's Enigma versions require Java 16 or 17 for versions above 0.27.3. Version 0.27.3 is the ideal version if you do not wish to maintain 2 Java installations.

After running Enigma, head over to "File" tab in menu bar, choose "Open Jar..." and open the jar of whatever version you're trying to map.
