ESP Easy is a firmware for ESP32 and ESP8266 boards like the WeMos D1 and NodeMCU. It allows you to quickly make custom devices with switches, sensors and other hardware for use in Domotica setups. Homey is a Domotica controller with support for a bunch of different protocols. This app binds them together by adding support to Homey for connecting with ESP Easy units and their connected sensors.
Follow these steps to start using ESP Easy together with Homey:
- Install ESP Easy
- Install the Homey app
- Configure Homey as controller
- Add a "System info" device
- Add unit to Homey
- Add sensor to Homey
- Add GPIO device
- You can read all about the using of this app in the Wiki
- Get support in the Forum
- Report issues or feature requests in the bug tracker
- Get a new device supported
As my own use cases are limited, I need your input for Supporting more boards, devices and languages. Read here how you can help me!
Since version 1.11.0, some basic telemetry data is collected by the app. Read all about it on my privacy page on the wiki.
