Can't these symbols easily be typed by switching the keyboard language to Hindi?

Yes they can, but that needs a new keyboard to be installed.

If you add the Hindi language option in the Gboard settings you can switch to it by quickly tapping the globe or holding down on the space bar, and I think most would find that more convenient than typing out several letters to type a single one.

I'm still not convinced that this is in the scope of the project since the project's target audience is people who like to discuss mathematics. Languages not commonly used in math aren't needed as much.

If you think having shortcuts like these would be useful, I may suggest starting a separate dictionary project for Hindi shortcuts, as if I accept Hindi, I'd have to accept all other languages as well and that could end up adding a lot of non-mathematical symbols. I think for now, it should stay focused on Math and other unicode symbols referenceable by LaTeX commands or combinations of commands.
