Metal Detector
The Metal Detector is a tool that allows you to detect ores near you in a square radius of 6 blocks.
After crafting it for the first time, the metal detector will not do anything by itself
First you need to provide it up to 3 metal samples (metal ingots) that define what metals the detector will detect
Once you provide the metal samples the metal detector will gain a durability of: 100 * number of samples provided.
You can then right-click and selected ore types near you will be highlighted for a short period of time.
Once the metal detector reaches 0 durability it won't break but it'll restore to its empty version ready to be provided again with new metals
You can also clear metal detectors' saved metal sample by placing one in a crafting grid like so:
