Nice work, however this is being done as part of #1471. We have a reusable view that ensures a good design for all filter text fields and other text fields within the navigator side bar. If you'd like, you can help me with that PR. Just comment to let me know over there. Again, we really appreciate the effort though. Closing this for now.
