How to access the Moose server which receives and stores CHIME pathfinder beamformed data.
To get an account, contact an administrator from the list below with the following information:
- Preferred username
- Ask to be added to the 'chime' and 'frb' groups.
- You will be sent a temporary password
Administrators are (in approximate order of how long it will take them to figure out how to make you an account):
- Andre Recnik
- Don Wiebe
- Richard Shaw
- Kiyoshi Masui
To log in
From there you should change your password with passwd
. Then
ssh moose
It is recommended that you add the following to your local .ssh/config:
host tubular
hostname 192.139.21.201
Such that the first command becomes
ssh username@tubular
