Media Bias in Boston is an innovative application harnessing the techniques of NLP to revolutionize the way we interact with news data. This application is designed to intelligently read and identify the key topics within news articles, and then accurately pin them to their relevant geographical locations for advanced data analytics.
- Topic Identification: With our topic modeling and entity recognition, we utilize state of the art NLP to scan news articles and identify core topics, ranging from politics and finance to technology and health.
- Simply upload articles based on our data schema and you are done!
- Geographical Pinning: Each identified topic is geographically tagged, linking the content to specific global locations, enhancing the understanding of regional news trends.
- Our system is adaptable for any location as we use the Census tracks provieded by the U.S Census.
