We've brought Forge and NeoForged into the game creator. The technical details behind it is more than complex. Basically, we have to port Forge installer to TypeScript and run all those stuffs like remapping jars. But that's all set-up now. Simply choose a compatible version, click the install button, and Alicorn will get everything ready.

Enhance Pre-1.6 Compatibility

It's not as simple as "just follow the steps" to run game versions earlier than 1.6. The game at that time lacks robustness and needs extra steps to run. Well, we've did that for you and have put all those cumbersome work into our launch module and these versions will now just work.

Fixes & Optimizations

  • Update the initial zoom factor.
  • Standardize lang property in emitted options.txt.
  • Update library resolution.
  • Unify toast colors and icons.
  • Update API endpoint for better CDN.
  • Include stacktrace in exception display dialog

To Upgrade

This release is fully compatible with versions starting from v2.0.0-beta. No manual actions required.
