There are generators for
CONTRIBUTING.md, but I tried to keep things much shorter than you'd usually have for big, mature projects.The issue templates should help to keep the tickets a bit more organized.
@drbacke the
CONTRIBUTING.mdis probably the place where you should clarify the guard rails for contributions.At some point I would also suggest to create a
GOVERNANCE.mdto clarify how decisions are made (ultimately by @drbacke).
