Staying updated in our rapidly changing world is tough. Okay, maybe you can read news from variety of sources (which might be boring) how can the visually impaired people get updated?
What if you could get latest news related to any topic you want as a podcast!
Inform Me! is a multi-lingual podcast generator!
It aims to provide latest news to the visually impaired and it also serves as a practical tool for other users!
Demo:
- Summaries of the latest news as podcast with their transcripts and the news source url!
- Includes default categories and searchbox for you to search for any topic you want!
- Utilizes voice recognition technology, allowing users to search for news simply by speaking. Making it easy for the visually impaired to interact with our app.
- Multi-lingual support. Supports more than 30 languages (some supported languages are in it's development state, soon to be finalized)
Follow these steps to get the app up and running on your local machine.

- Flutter installed on your machine. Flutter Installation Guide
- Android/ios emulator or a physical device

Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/ACMHacettepeDevelopers/inform_me_gsc_mobile

Navigate to the project directory:
cd flutter_project# Change the base url with your hosting url cd lib/podcast_properties.dart
cd .. -
Install Dependencies:
flutter pub get

Run the app on an emulator or connected device:
flutter run
